If you are running Mac 10.12 Sierra or later, there is a difficulty when using the command line. Either Mac 10.12 and later, or SpiderOak ONE and Groups (we are still investigating) has a problem that causes terminal output to not display. ONE and Groups commands run properly but blind: you cannot see their output in Terminal, and Terminal's prompt returns before the command has finished running. We will be addressing this problem in a future release.
There is a workaround in the meantime. In the Mac Launchpad, open Console. In the search field in the top right corner, enter "SpiderOak" without the quotes. Then press the Clear button. Also in Launchpad, open Terminal. Enter the desired command. The command's output will not appear in Terminal, but it will in Console.
If you wish to copy the output (for example to send to us for diagnostic purposes), click anywhere on the Console window to select it. Press Command-A to select all of the messages in Console, then Command-C to copy them to the clipboard. Paste those messages wherever you wish using Command-V.
