Adding Semaphor to a computer
First download the Semaphor installer, then install and launch the application. There will be a blue ‘Sign in’ link beneath the new account creation button. Select it and enter your e-mail address and your recovery key. This will add your device to your Semaphor account and automatically download and decrypt all teams, channels, and conversations you have been a part of. Depending on how many messages have been sent that need downloaded, this process can take some time.
Adding Semaphor to a mobile device
On your existing Semaphor device, click on your account profile, then click Devices. In the top right of the Devices screen click on the + sign. This will display a QR code associated with your Semaphor account.
Open Semaphor on your new device and select Sign Into Semaphor, then select Add This Device. You can then use your mobile device's camera to scan the QR code on your other device. This will sign you in to your Semaphor account.
